For anybody who's visited us before, or for those of you who have just arrived here, we'd like to announce that we're planning to relaunch a new GuitarStuff site soon that should - if we get it right, as we assume we shall - gradually build into the best guitar site on the web.

'Stuff,' as we see it, is about the very essence of the guitar, its rich variety and the breadth of experience and reward it will always offer the player or enthusiast. It's about the instrument itself, and about the people who love and play it, who give it both its unique character and the special place it's held in players' affections for four centuries or more.

Our new team of editors and contributors have been working together to assemble a wide range of content and facilities focussed on the entire guitar community - that's people like yourself.

And of course it's about all that other stuff as well - knobs, amps, strings, set-up, tablature, guitar lessons, interviews, buying and selling used guitars. There'll be guitar forums for all the major makers and for many you'll never have been aware of.

Above all it'll be about you, your guitar, and however much you want to ask of, or share with, the rest of the community at large. Exchange and interchange. You'll let us know what you want and we'll be listening.

It'll take us a bit of time, but bear with us, stay tuned, and we will be back soon.
